In 2017, IT freelancer Niek Bartholomeus felt the need to make public data more accessible. Finding information and opportunities took unnecessarily long. That's why he built openthebox, a platform that automatically extracts all available business information from public publications and links them together. Since May 2022, Niek has been further developing this unique data web under the wing of Mediafin.
